No Fail Pie Crust

No Fail Pie Crust

  • 2 1/2 c Sifted Flour
  • 1 c Butter
  • 1/4 c cold water
  • 1 Tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 lg beaten egg

Combine
salt and flour.  Cut in butter until it resembles small peas.  Mix in water,
vinegar, and beaten egg.  Knead and roll out to 1/4” thick.  Makes 1 2-crust pie
or 2 1-crust pies.
